We enjoy salmon prepared in a variety of different ways but the bourbon marinade seems to be the favorite. That said, I am always open to trying other recipes that sound appealing. Recently I tried a grilled salmon with a raspberry sauce and it was quite good. It has a less complicated taste than the bourbon marinade recipe and seems to bring out rather than disguise the salmon flavor.
The added bonus is the simplicity of the sauce, equal parts raspberry preserves and white vinegar. A bit of fresh squeezed lemon sets the whole thing off perfectly.
